The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that conspiracies are being hatched to damage Muslim unity and weaken the Islamic identity of Jammu and Kashmir, which is a Muslim majority territory.Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressing one-day conference on renowned Muslim saint, Mir Syed Ali Hamdani, in Srinagar, today, termed the personality of the saint as a role model for all Muslims. He said that under a well-planned conspiracy, anti-Islam forces at local and international levels were hell-bent on tarnishing the image of Islam.
People from all walks of life including religious scholars attended the event.
